ACUMEN STRENGTHENS ITS EDINBURGH FINANCIAL PLANNING TEAM
The Acumen Group has strengthened its central belt financial planning offering by recruiting a new financial planner to be based in its Edinburgh office.
Chris Mackie joined the team earlier this year, with ten years' industry experience. The newly created position will be key to boosting the company's financial planning offering in Edinburgh.
Chris, a graduate in Commerce from Napier University, has worked with some of the UK's leading financial organisations, including Standard Life Assurance and Bell Lawrie as a private client manager and senior financial planning manager.
Chris said: "I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to join Acumen at a time when it is experiencing massive growth and redevelopment. Acumen's presence in the central belt has been accelerating in recent months, and I am looking forward to implementing Acumen's plans for the development of its operations."
Bill Saunders, head of financial planning said: "Chris has a wealth of experience, and I am sure he will be a huge asset to the Edinburgh team. His appointment also comes at a time when Acumen has become one of the most qualified financial planning organisations in the UK, with seven employees attaining the highly sought-after certified financial planner (CFP) status."
