The “virtual IT” (VIT) Manager” concept is targeted at companies that cannot justify employing full-time, qualified IT staff.

One of our Systems Engineers will visit your company at regular, predetermined intervals (e.g. two hours every month, four hours every week etc). The minimum visit time is two hours but there is no maximum.

The purpose of providing such a service is basically so that we take responsibility for your company’s IT Service. This allows you to get on with what you do best- run your business efficiently – and leave us to worry about your IT service. The emphasis is on proactivity rather than reactivity – to foresee and resolve problems BEFORE they occur. However, VIT Manager encompasses more than this:-

• Installation of new hardware and/or software
• Routine housekeeping
• Applying Service Packs and Hotfixes
• Ensuring automatic updates to anti-virus are activating
• Confirm the Backup has been running correctly
• Resolving non-critical issues that have built up since the last visit

The above list is not exhaustive and is intended to give an idea of how diverse the VIT Manager service is intended to be.

If your business will suffer financial loss because of IT Service disruptions but you cannot justify employing IT staff then you cannot be without a VIT Manager. To put it another way- can you afford to say “if only”?

VIT time by a dedicated Systems Engineer will be used to be proactive and perform regular preventative servicing of your computer system to ensure it runs at optimal efficiency.
