David has been working in the IT industry since the late 80s. Originally working as a programmer, he has covered most aspects of IT including spending time working for ISPs and Internet Backbone Providers.

David is currently a Microsoft Certified Professional and says that when it comes to IT you never stop learning as things change all the time.

David is married and spends most of his spare time trying to find a website to download that elusive "life" people keep telling him to get.

Graeme lives in Aberdeenshire with his wife, Louise and son, Ryan. In his spare time he is an avid music, film and games fan.

After leaving Gray’s School of Art with a degree in Visual Communication in 2000, Emma has worked in a number of positions at the University of Aberdeen and The Robert Gordon University.

From there, Emma went on to take on the position of first tier IT Helpdesk support & coordination for a large oil company in Dyce before going on to be assistant to the General Services Department Manager.

Emma enjoys the organisational aspect of her role within AcumenIT and is looking forward to the challenge of working to tight schedules within a growing IT support company.

Emma is married and lives in Aberdeen with her husband Jonathan. In her spare time she enjoys socialising, DIY, movies and computer games.

James Williamson

For 10 years James has been in the industry working on server, networks and PCs running a variety of operating systems and managing different sizes of public and private sector companies. He recently gained certificates in security testing and computer forensics.

Before getting heavily into the IT industry, his first experience of using computers was in the Royal Navy, operating a tactical computerised radar system.

His spare time is spent doing DIY, cooking for friends, taking short breaks and exploring new places. During the summer he like to go walking.

Janice Starrs is an Account Manager and a Director of AcumenIT. Janice is one of the Acumen Groups longest serving employees. Until recently Janice was Group Systems Manager for the Acumen Group of companies.

Duties included IT project management and co-ordination, client relationship manager, software and hardware installations. Janice was also responsible for the Bureau Services offered by Acumen Accountants which includes responsibility for the payroll bureau, co-ordinating and supporting the Senior Software Consultant, liaise with Sage software and various third party software providers.

Kay Newton graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 1993.

Kay returned to complete her diploma in Marketing in June 2000 and gained Chartered Marketer status in 2002 after completing a Masters in Marketing with The Robert Gordon University. Kay completed a diploma in business advice and counselling in 2003.

Kay enjoys spinning, body pump, swiss ball and body balance. Kay lives in Inverurie and spends the majority of her time at the gym. Kay is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing committee - North of Scotland branch.
