AcumenIT Awarded Microsoft Certified Partner Status
AcumenIT, part of the Acumen Group, has been awarded the coveted Microsoft Certified Partner status after having successfully met Microsoft's stringent criteria.
Companies that achieve the Microsoft Certified Partner status provide clients with the highest levels of technical expertise, strategic thinking and hands-on skills. Each Microsoft Certified Partner must employ a minimum number of Microsoft Certified Professionals; offer a broad range of technical expertise including infrastructure, networking, office automation and business intelligence; and provide a range of services such as consulting, training, implementation and maintenance and support. As a partner, AcumenIT will enjoy round the clock support from Microsoft.
David Bryce, information technology solutions manager, said: "I am delighted that AcumenIT has achieved Microsoft Certified Partner status - it augments our growing reputation in the north east IT marketplace. The process of gaining the Microsoft Partner Status is rigorous but such recognition can only stand us in good stead and enhance our ability not just to meet client demand, but also to provide our customers with the added value that we strive to deliver."
David continued: "We have built a culture of very high standards in a relatively short time - this recognition marks the culmination of a lot of effort and hard work from the entire AcumenIT team. We are celebrating our first anniversary of trading in June, so recognition from Microsoft marks a double celebration.
"Our first year has been very successful, indeed more successful than we had forecasted. We are continuing to grow apace and indeed, I feel we have made our mark in the marketplace with a number of major new contract wins secured. The outlook for 2006/2007 is positive," added David.
